Magic Sword
~SNES
Magic Sword was a fairly short game, taking me about an hour and a half to finish. It was pretty monotonous as there was no real variation to the levels, but you did get to pick between 8 different allies throughout the game, such as the demon or the wizard. There wasn't too much you could do with the allies other than make them a little bit stronger by collecting red hearts or getting the same ally twice in a row, but hey at least they were cool.
This is actually my second time beating Magic Sword, and I'm glad I figured out how to level the allies this time around. The first time I played Magic Sword was a lot tougher because I kept swapping my allies out, thus they were always super weak. This time, however, I managed to get the Knight (apparently the strongest ally) to level 8 by time I hit the final boss.
Overall, Magic Sword is not very hard, but it was still worth the play through as it was a fairly decent game. I don't quite remember why I loved it so much when I first found it, but nonetheless I am glad to say it's in my trophy room (again).
