World 1-40: Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is one of those timeless classics that everybody knows. It paved the way for an entire great series of video games on many different consoles along the way. Come to think of it, this is probably the first time I ever actually beat the game by myself. I grew up watching my brother play it, and even started my own files quite a few times, but I don't think I ever actually saw it through to the end until now. I'm actually glad all the solutions to the puzzles were ingrained in my head, because I probably would have gone mental trying to figure some of them out. As it was, there were a few parts that nearly sent me over the edge because they were so completely infuriating. I managed to complete the game within a month (on and off), probably due to frustration and needing to cool off for a bit. Either way, this is a game I can see myself playing again and again, without hesitation. It is every bit as amazing as it sounds.

Oh and as a side note, I didn't realize that it tells you how many times you died throughout the game at the end. As you can see from the picture, I ended up dying 18 times. That's actually quite a lot, but rest assured I wasn't trying very hard to save my lives. In fact, I quite enjoyed killing myself off in bouts of frustration.
