World 1-49: Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards

Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
~Nintendo 64

Kirby 64 is an insanely cute game. All the sound effects make you go "aww!" so hard your eyes nearly pop out of your head, and the music is a matching level of adorable. As if that wasn't enough of a cuteness overload, then there's all this candy and cute food for you to eat too! Beyond all the outrageously cute though, there is a serious side to this game. Like every other Kirby game, you can swallow your enemies to absorb their powers. Except in Kirby 64, you can mix the powers of the enemies to create new combinations to take you to even more exciting areas! The combinations are imaginative and useful - for example, you can become a refrigerator that pops out food so you can regain health. The bosses are also original. In one case, you have to fight your artist friend, who paints up enemies for you to fight. Overall, Kirby 64 is a really enjoyable game that I would definitely play again.
