World 1-72: Color Theory

Wow, it really bugs me that I have to write "color" instead of "colour", but as that is the title of the game, alas I cannot change it.

Color Theory is a thoroughly entertaining game. Each map is composed of several different layers of colours that you stand on which you must strategically turn on and off in order to make it to your goal. To play, you must walk through little icons located around the levels that have different effects on the map. Oftentimes you will need to make a leap of faith and just hope like hell that your guy will land somewhere safe - and that in itself is incredibly enjoyable. Other times, the map will be too big to plan out your every move, so you will need to just dive in and see what happens when you hit certain switches. There are also other level modifiers, such as the arrow icon which flips the gravity upside down, and spikes that kill you when you land on them. The game gets increasingly difficult, keeping you on edge and intrigued.

Overall, I found Color Theory to be well worth the play through. Its simple yet effective design, and the original twist on the already-awesome genre of platformers, make it a great play.
