Doodle God is a very unique point and click style game where your duty is to mix and match a basic set of four elements to unlock further elements, combining the new ones with the old ones until you have discovered them all. As an added measure of difficulty, each element expands further, becoming a group with new elements inside of it. For example, when you combine Fire with Earth, you unlock Lava, which goes into the Fire group and can then be used with any of the other elements or group pieces that you have.
As mentioned, you have four basic elements to begin with. These elements are: Fire, Earth, Air, and Water. Using these elements, you can quickly expand your collection. Once you craft your first few elements, this game gets super addicting. As an added bonus, as you unlock each new element a matching quote or proverb is provided, which adds to the whole zen feel to this game. This matches with the relaxing background music that plays in contrast to you, as you sit there furiously trying to remember what else you have left to try and wondering why you didn't think of that combination sooner.
Another thing that I liked about Doodle God is that unlocking elements with combinations actually makes sense (Mega Man should be ashamed! Thinking that their boss weaknesses made any sense, pft!). For example, when you mix Earth with Air, you get Dust. Simple! Sometimes, the later ones almost seem like a stretch, but they still usually make sense. That's always nice.
All in all, I'd recommend Doodle God to anybody looking for a simple, inviting puzzle game to take up half an hour or so of your time. Doodle God is very original, and if you want more, there are plenty of sequels to invest your time in as well!
