Not surprisingly, Doremi Fantasy Milon no DokiDoki Daibouken (called "Doremi" from hereon out) is a Japanese game for the Famicom. A hard copy was never released in North America, but in 2008 it was available for download on the Wii's Virtual Console, untranslated. Honestly, I have no idea what the storyline was all about, but I loved everything else about this game. Doremi has a lot of anime qualities, in that it is bright, happy, and has very distinctive graphics. It also has a very unique soundtrack, although it does get repetitive at times. I would definitely play this game again, and recommend it to anybody who loves a simple platformer.
Looks like a fun game. I was thinking of recommending it for Wii Virtual Console, but I've never tried it. Is it similar to mario world and if so, how does it compare?
ReplyDeleteIt already is on VC, you should definitely give it a try! It was kind of a hidden gem. Everything in it is so smooth, it had all the elements of a great game, but it was lacking just a little something that could have bumped it up to all time classic. It's definitely worth the play though!
