Game 70: Sushi Cat

Ah, Sushi Cat. This is a ridiculously addicting and fun casual game. It's a lot like Plinko, where you drop the ball (in this game it's in the shape of a cat) and try to hit as many prizes as you can on the way down. The prizes in this game are bits of sushi, and the more you collect, the fatter your cat gets. Once you collect a certain amount of sushi for each level, you can move on to the next stage. There are also special types of sushi, such as the Maneki Neko, which gives you another cat to roll on the board, and the Tsunami roll, which sucks nearby sushi into you for a quick bonus loot. On top of all that, each level is more than just a standard peg board; there are flat surfaces, round surfaces, moving surfaces and many more obstacles that make this game interesting and increasingly difficult as well.
The animation in this game is amusing because the cat gets so huge and bounces really well. The whole game actually has a kind of rubbery feel to it. The game design is very well put together, and obviously had a lot of time and effort put into it. The music is entertaining and almost hypnotic, and the sound effects are very satisfying.
